One of the challenges involved in creating the McFadyen book series is converting their expert tone and dense content into visuals that help readers digest the information. By design, the books consistently follow a minimal, grayscale layout focusing heavily on information. This is achieved by adhering to an “old-school” textbook format, utilizing serif fonts for the body text and sans-serif for graphics.
