Diversamente

As LATAM’s largest science-based neurodiversity forum, Diversamente required a high-impact design system to mobilize over 200 global participants for a single-day event. The objective was to reframe neurodiversity as a celebrated scientific profile, moving beyond from its clinical definitions.

Bringing a modern movement to a 200-years old historic venue

The forum was held at the Ipiranga Museum, one of Brazil’s most iconic monuments and a symbol of the nation’s history. To respect the venue, the identity relies on expansive white space and colorful elements, intentionally pushing the palette against the museum’s colors.

A logo as diverse as the mind can be

We follow along the theme of diversity by breaking the logo into 3D, flat, and deconstructed shapes. Paired with the multicolored palette, we have a system that proves there is no "standard" way for it to be shown, or to think or be. The design serves as a visual metaphor for the varied perspectives that neurodiversity brings to the table, and the many different people present at the event.

Celebrating unique minds, people, and groups.

Instead of a "clinical" aesthetic, Diversamente's aesthetic uses bold layouts that scream "Celebrate your unique mind." Every asset was crafted to feel like a cultural celebration, empowering attendees to own their individual ways of being.

Unifying print and digital assets in a single goal.

From urban billboards to social media feeds, we wanted color and diversity. Social media assets, mainly through Instagram, acted as guide for schedules and speaker bios. Print material helped set the tone and atmosphere of the Forum. Diversamente was a success with 200+ participants and 30+ sessions in a single day.
